We can use your help

There are several ways you can help us help those animals in need. Whether making a donation, volunteering at our shelter, fostering furry love bugs or providing a forever home, we can always use your help!

Volunteer

We can always use passionate, caring volunteers to help us rescue and care for animals (feeding, cleaning, treating and socializing a bunch of furballs is a lot of work), transport them out of area (valid driver’s license and good driving record are necessary) and educate others on the need to spay/neuter and treat animals with grace and dignity.

Make a Donation

None of our services would be possible without your generous donations. It’s expensive caring for critters but every little bit helps and EVERY donation is tax deductible. A $25 donation helps us feed a bunch of critters for a day. For $250, we’ll feed them for 10 days and ship you a sweet Kirkland Foundation jacket!

Foster or Adopt

We’re always looking for folks willing to help foster cats while we’re getting them ready for adoption. Let us know you’re willing to help and we’ll set you up with a couple of fur babies and cover all their food and medical costs. If you’re ready to find your new best friend, browse our critter list and make it happen!

Kirkland Foundation volunteers help transport adoption-ready cats and kittens from the Central Valley to other areas in California where they are more easily adopted.

The poster child for what we do. Sick and emaciated with grim prospects when we brought her into the KF Family. Now she’s a healthy, beautiful purring machine and ready for her new life.
